It was an honour to bring a little piece of Burgundy to the FIFA World Cup through the Coca-Cola Hospitality programme.

Together with guests from around the world, we shared what we love most: authentic Burgundy wines, seasonal food, and the joy of gathering around a table.

Thank you to Coca-Cola for the opportunity and to everyone who joined us for this special experience. Moments like these remind us that food and wine are a universal language.

Our Family Chocolate Cake 🍫❤️
First time I made this cake was for our oldest son Louis’ 4th birthday and it was a hit ! This cake is a delight, and the fact that it cannot be unmolded actually adds to its charm and presentation. This dish is the definition of « sharing » . A discovery to serve proudly at your table for Thanksgiving or any friends and family occasion. You won’t often get the chance to encourage everyone to eat directly from the dish!.

- Serves 8 to 10 people
- 10 minutes of preparation
- 20 minutes of baking

🍫 Ingredients
- 1 pie dish about 30cm (12 inches) in diameter
- 250 g unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 250 g (1.5 cups) dark chocolate (70%)
- 150 g (3/4 cup) granulated sugar
- 6 eggs (medium size), separated (yolks and whites)

👩‍🍳 Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C (380F).
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler or microwave.
3. Beat the eggs yolks with the sugar until the mixture becomes light in color. Combine both preparations chocolate + yolks/sugar.
4. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture.
5. Pour everything into the dish previously buttered and bake for about 20 minutes. The cake will puff up and then fall slightly, forming a raised crust around the edges.
6. Serve in the dish, with many spoons, while still warm it’s even better that way.

🍷 I like to pair this divine chocolate cake—especially because is rich, warm, and slightly gooey—with a Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Go for a pinot with a silky texture, red fruits (cherry, raspberry) flavors, with some earthy notes such as a Volnay, Beaune, Maranges or a Savigny Les Beaune from a warm vintage (2019, 2020, 2022). It’s easy to serve a pinot noir with this cake because the cake is not too sweet.
